Fiona McLean
‘For me there is nothing more inspiring than the thought of an alluring building project. The design of houses in particular, both large and small, has always fascinated me, even as a child.’
Born in Scotland and brought up in London, Fiona trained as an architect at Edinburgh University and has had her own practice since qualifying.
A member of both the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Chartered Society of Designers, she started McLean Quinlan more than 20 years ago. The practice was shortlisted for the 2010 Architect of the Year Awards.
